Doriscell Drake
When Doriscell Drake signed her Young Rembrandts franchise on January 2, 2012, she gained a significant role in improving the lives of children. Previously an oncology sales specialist, Doriscell worked as a notable saleswoman with the belief that a healthy body contributes to a healthy mind. Now, Doriscell is helping develop the creative young minds in her community who are progressing to new heights.
Speaking to the impact of Young Rembrandts, Doriscell shares a touching story regarding one of her students. “A child with autism enrolled in Young Rembrandts as a kindergarten student. His mother was hopeful in regard to Young Rembrandts providing an atmosphere that would allow him to focus as well as enjoy the program. The first session required additional management in order for us to achieve our goal of focus. Although not an ideal session for him, we felt that we made progress. Therefore, he enrolled in a subsequent session. Progress was notable. Now, our student is in second grade. He has participated in five Young Rembrandt sessions.”
“His mom and teacher advised us of how well this student had progressed,” she adds. “I wanted to personally observe. His work is beautiful, and can also be characterized as stunning. Young Rembrandts has played a significant role in this student being more well rounded and Young Rembrandts has improved his life in general. This is truly gratifying.”
When speaking to parents about the benefits of Young Rembrandts, Doriscell is confident that she’s offering their children an opportunity to excel rather than delivering a sales pitch.
