From California to the Carolinas, Young Rembrandts is “drawing” attention all month long for the creative celebration of its 30th Anniversary. Throughout April, the nation’s leading children’s art education program that specializes in offering a curriculum uniquely focused on drawing, is showcasing its appreciation to the communities it serves with “30 Events in 30 Days.”

Featuring free drawing classes and welcoming art displays, “30 Events in 30 Days” bridges the sustained commitment of Young Rembrandts with the families and neighborhoods that have learned to count upon the curriculum to make meaningful impacts on the lives of children.  The special month-long celebration in April includes classes and displaying the work of the aspiring young artists in highly trafficked public spaces such as libraries.

With special events held in many of the communities where Young Rembrandts holds it drawing classes, children will have the chance to show the community the beautiful art they create.  The art displays held nationwide in April aim to give back to the community and celebrate both the past 30 years and the future of Young Rembrandts’ commitment to promoting positive cognitive and intellectual development in children through art and drawing.

“I'm always amazed by the creativity and artistic flair that our talented students demonstrate and April is the perfect time to showcase that talent,” said Claudia Gonzales, co-owner of Young Rembrandts serving East San Gabriel Valley in Southern California. “We want members of the community to see how impressive the students’ work is and for the students to realize that each of them contributes something unique and valuable, which in turn can have a meaningful impact on the larger community.”

The “30 Events in 30 Days” celebration is part of a campaign running throughout the first six months of 2018 in which Young Rembrandts and its classes nationwide are giving back to the community through a collection of local partnerships and outreach programs.

“For 30 years, I’ve been consistently blown away by the accomplishments of our students and what becomes possible by taking part in regular art and drawing classes. They gain the skills they need to grow and succeed in their communities as preschoolers, elementary students and beyond,” said Bette Fetter, CEO and founder of Young Rembrandts. “I can’t think of a more meaningful way to honor our anniversary year than to have our students’ work shown in a beautiful art display.”
